Just like that, it’s the 3rd week of the 2019-2020 school year!  I look forward to seeing you at the Open House tomorrow.  Students received their photo ID’s on the first week and are supposed to have it along with their planner every hour of the day. I am proud to see most students are coming to class prepared and have joined Google Classroom along with posting their FLIPGRID introduction video.  A friendly reminder to some is to….

  • Come to science prepared (planner, folder and their supplies)
  • Drop off what you need for second hour before you go to your advisory class.
  • Take advantage of 5 minutes passing time to use the restroom or drink water.
  • Review PBIS(embedded in their planner) and classroom expectations.

In science this week:

  • We completed our classroom scavenger hunt to become familiar with the science classroom and where items are .
  • We will review and discuss procedures to use lab time safe and efficiently.
  • We have finally assembled our science journals and are ready to begin with our new science curriculum.
  • Students will be completing the first unit pre-test .
