I cannot believe we are already approaching 3rd week of the 2018-2019 school year!  I look forward to seeing you at the Open House this week.  Students received their photo ID’s last week and are supposed to have it along with their planner every hour of the day. I am proud to see most students coming to class prepared and have turned in their Syllabus Contract Sheet along with posting their FLIPGRID introduction video.  A friendly reminder to some is to….

  • Come to science prepared (planner, folder, planner(homework) and their supplies)
  • Make sure their lockers are locked so no one could help themself to their personal items
  • Take advantage of passing time to use the restroom or drink water
  • Review PBIS(embedded in their planner) and classroom expectations

  • We will focus on procedures to use lab time safe and efficiently, complete a scavenger hunt to become familiar with the classroom and where items are.
  • We have finally assembled our science journals and are ready to begin with our science curriculum.
  • The main focus in Science is “How to Think Like an Engineer“.
