Objective: I can contrast the difference in how details are used to develop a topic paragraph that describes the Ordinary World in Oz.
Bell: In your notebook, make a T-Chart underneath the last entry(not the SSR log), and list a positive comment and a negative one for Paragraph A and Paragraph B.
Activities:
- In groups of 3 or 4, find agreement on two positives and two negatives for each paragraph.
- Post-It: Post your group choices on the board.
- Share Out: Discuss one or two postings: logical-sequential development.
- Match the moment in Oz with the Archetype or Stage.
- Quiz of Archetypes, Stages, Oz, and comma usage will occur on Wednesday(10/7), not Tuesday.
