Activities:

1.  Answer the remaining questions for Parts 5 & 6 of POH.

2.  Read aloud the first paragraph of the exemplar essay. Exemplar/Argumentative

3.  Share Out:  Students will identify the claim(thesis) and counterargument in the exemplar essay.

4.  Read aloud the second paragraph of the exemplar essay.

5.  Teacher models how to write a synopsis or summary of POH.
