Activities:
- Share Out: Volunteers will read aloud their reflections.
- Promethean Board: Review the “key words” on the Argumentative Rubric for Organization, Evidence, and Reasoning.
- Think Pair/Share: With your elbow partner, score the exemplar by using the three components of Organization, Evidence, and Reasoning.
- Random Share Out: Students will be asked to share their findings.
- Think Pair/Share: Students will score their elbow partner’s first supporting paragraph.
- Independent Study: Each student will write a reflection about his/her elbow partner’s score and submit it to the partner.
- Share Out: If time allows, students will read aloud reflections of their work.
