- Share Out: Identify two words that were boxed? Did you get a gist or general idea?
- Turn the title into a question: Who? What? When? Where? Why? How?
- Students read lightly to answer the question posed by the title and underline for the Golden Line.
- Share Out: What was your Golden Line? Can I infer the gist or main idea of the article from it?
