Objective: I can type the final draft of my Civil Rights Speech by following the explanation and the rubric principles.
BW: Highlight one quote in the introduction, five quotes in the body paragraph, and one in the conclusion.
Activities:
- Share Out: What are the requirements in the rubric? Can you use more than four quotes from one article? Do you need a journal article provided for each quote? Can you put quotations back-to-back?
- Use the explanation and the rubric to complete the final draft of your speech. This draft is the retake.
- If time allows, you can type your quote/source citation page for extra credit.
- Submit all work five minutes before class is over and get signed off by the teacher. No work is allowed home!
