Community meets to discuss traffic concerns

A huge THANK YOU to Chief Haddad for meeting with concerned citizens at Salina Intermediate to discuss traffic concerns at dismissal time.  Please remember that there is NO PARKING in the front of our school at dismissal time.  For the safety of our students, all students are to be picked up in our parking lot.   The police will be enforcing that rule  as a safety measure to keep all of our students safe.

Warning about a seemingly harmless game your students could download from your phone or computer

https://www.kidspot.com.au/parenting/real-life/in-the-news/dad-horrified-to-find-vile-messages-in-popular-game-on-sons-ipad

Parents,

Please take a minute to read this very important article.  While we are fortunate to have filters that won’t allow our students access to these sites, they are easy for students to download from a phone, ipad or their home computer.  It seems like a harmless game, however, there is a very dangerous outcome.

3rd grade speeches

3rd-grade students wishing to be class president in Mrs. Habhab’s class gave speeches to their classmates.  They gave reasons why students should vote for them and what they would do, once elected to office, to improve Salina school.  Go Wildcats!!!
