District reopening plan

Dear parents,

Please read below the press release on Dearborn’s Reopening Plan. Staff from both schools will be available on Wed. August 12 from 10-3 for any parents who do not wish to have their students attend Salina Elementary or Salina Intermediate this fall and attend another Dearborn program. If your child will be following Salina’s remote reopening plan, you do NOT need to do anything. We will be in touch soon with more information. Please stop by school tomorrow from 10-3 should you have any questions.

We look forward to welcoming you and our students soon!

Be well.

Mrs. Stanley

We value your opinion

Dear parents,

As you know, it is too soon to tell what schools will look like in the fall. What I can say for sure is that your child’s health, safety, and education are the top priorities for us all. The state of Michigan will give all districts direction regarding all of this. Decisions will be based on the best scientific information coming from experts in their fields. I can promise we will continue to provide the best education for your student(s) no matter what.

Dr. Maleyko has formed a reopening committee and they would like your opinion on a few things. We want to hear from you. Please take a moment to fill this out.

Be well!!
