Happy First Full Day of School!

Good morning, Salina STEAM Students!

It is officially our first full day back!

Elementary students: Make sure you click on your STEAM course in Schoology every Tuesday afternoon for what we’ll be learning in my class! You will also have a brief assignment to do every week! Just click on your STEAM course in Schoology, then click on the “Materials” folder (on the left), and view the materials in this week’s folder (Week 2). Complete the quiz you when you are done viewing the materials!

Middle School students: Today is an “A” day schedule, so you will follow the schedule below:

6th Grade C/D Block – “A” Day Schedule:
8:15-9:30 1st Hour (LIVE on Zoom)
9:35-10:30 2nd Hour (LIVE on Zoom)
10:35-11:35 3rd Hour (LIVE on Zoom)
11:35-12:10 Lunch
12:15-1:40 Block C (Learning Lab)
1:45-3:10 Block D (Learning Lab)

7th/8th Grade – “A” Day Schedule:
8:15-9:30 1st Hour (LIVE on Zoom)
9:35-10:30 2nd Hour (LIVE on Zoom)
10:35-11:35 3rd Hour (LIVE on Zoom)
11:35-12:10 Lunch
12:15-1:10 4th/5th Hour (Learning Lab)
1:15-2:10 6th Hour (Learning Lab)
2:15-3:10 7th Hour (Learning Lab)

So today, I will see my 3rd hour students at 10:35. You will need to click on your STEAM course in Schoology, then click on the “Materials” folder (on the left), and then click on “3rd Hour Zoom Meeting” (this is where you will “join” the Zoom meeting). If you see a message on the screen that requires you to log-in, please click on “Sign in with Google” and enter your school email address and password.

For afternoon classes, you must log in on Schoology and click on begin working on lessons in the “Materials” folder that are titled “Week 2: 9/7-9/11/20.” If you’re scheduled to have me in the afternoon, you will ONLY work on the items that start with ASYNCHRONOUS in the title! The other material in the folder will be discussed during our live sessions.
