Objective: I can identify the process by which toys are invented.
Teacher Support: Pre-recorded lesson available on Google Classroom.
Instructions: View the following video:
When you are done viewing the video, take the “How are toys invented” quiz on Google Classroom. You may only take the quiz one time, so make sure you pay attention when viewing the video (please view the video more than once if you need to).
Note: Some students reported they were not able to view the video through iBlog. You can view it through Google Classroom! You’ll need to access Google Classroom in order to complete your “check for understanding” (quiz).
MIDDLE SCHOOL Lesson: Origami Inspiration: STEM Reading & Quiz
Objective: I can use context clues, interpret figurative language, draw inferences, recall supporting facts, identify the main idea, and analyze perspective as evident through responses to questions relevant to a STEM reading passage.
Teacher Support: Pre-recorded lesson available on Google Classroom.
Instructions: Click on the quiz link (Google Classroom) to read the reading passage and answer the five multiple choice questions that are relevant to the reading. Remember that a good reading strategy is to read all the questions first so that you know what information to look for while you’re reading! You may only take the quiz once, so take your time and review your answers before submitting.
EXTRA CREDIT: Find an origami art project online that you can do at home. Email me a picture of your actual origami project as well as the link to the instructions you used for your project! YOUR origami project MUST have your name written on it (write your name on the actual project in the end before you take the picture–make sure the picture shows that your name is on the craft).
