Last week, students read a passage about Origami (the Japanese art of paper-folding) and the impact it has on the STEM/STEAM field. Biomedical engineers were actually able to create heart stents for patients using the water-bomb base origami technique.
Students were granted an opportunity to research origami on their own and to create their own origami artwork. Here are some student work samples that were submitted:
