*ALL ASSIGNMENTS ARE NOW DUE ON FRIDAYS (NO LONGER SUNDAYS)
ELEMENTARY Lesson: Exploring STEM Careers
Objective: I can explore a STEM career and identify the responsibilities of a professional in that field.
Instructions: Please visit the following link to view kid-friendly videos about different STEM careers:
https://www.mheducation.com/prek-12/program/microsites/MKTSP-AIB01M0/stem-career-kids.html
Please view as many videos as you can before working on your assignment.
Choose ONE career from the website that interests you the most. Then, do the following:
o Write 3 sentences pretending you have this career and are introducing yourself to someone. Try to include who you are, what you do, and where you do it.
For example: “Hi, my name is Jane, and I am a bioengineer. I design equipment for doctors and hospitals to use. I do research on humans and animals in our lab to help me do my job.”
If you can, try to draw a picture of yourself working in this STEM career as well. Try and include something related to a project or task you would work on if you were working in this field. Attach your drawing to this document.
Those of you who already emailed it to me in the past few days (salehd@dearbornschools.org) are all set (I have your name checked off on my list). All other students should submit it through Google Classroom. I look forward to reading your sentences and checking out your artwork!
