If you do not want to read today, then do the read theory today. If you did not start read theory, today is a good day to do your three quizzes for this week. Also, you can make up missed quizzes. You should do 3 read theory quizzes each week! I know this is challenging because there is reading and questions after, but try your best. Each quiz is tailored to each students level, so the better you answer, the harder your quizzes and questions get (so that is a good sign 🙂 ) HAPPY READING!

Today the weather is rainy and it is a perfect day to snuggle in a blanket and read a book. Please do not fall behind on your readings, as we are already on week 4. Hello, Google “Reply” to no reply account

Some students are replying to messages sent from google classroom thinking that the teacher is receiving them but she/he is not. If you send a message to a teacher from a google email you must type the teachers name to reply, otherwise it goes to a no-reply account and the teacher does not get it. I even ran into this earlier where some students are saying they are emailing me but I am not receiving anything.

Basic message that needs to be relayed to the kids:
You CAN NOT hit reply on Google Classroom announcements from your teachers. If you want to contact your teacher, you must type their name into the “to” line.

SIDE NOTE: Summaries for the CITY OF EMBER must be your original work. I am not accepting summaries from online sources. I know your writing abilities so please do not plagiarise thinking that it is okay. I want to see your work and know that you understood the book that we are reading.
