FUN SCIENCE ACTIVITIES!

Our class learned about mixtures and solutions in science, Unit E /Matter.

We conducted different experiments on solids and liquids mixtures.

We sorted out solid- solid mixtures using different kinds of cereals, candies and fruits.

We sorted out by colors, shapes and different kinds of cereals.

We also made solid-liquid solutions using lemonade powder with water.

We also experimented a liquid -liquid mixture by adding oil to water.

We Observed , discussed our results and came up with scientific conclusions!

Science is fun!

Valentine’s Day Festivities!

Valentine’s Day Festivities
We will be having an ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY on Thursday, February 11, 2016, as part of our Valentine’s Day festivities. I am looking for donations of the following items for our party:
Sprinkles
Plastic spoons
Whipped Cream
Small ice cream cups
Hershey’s chocolate syrup
Maraschino cherries

Please mark off what you can send in (and how many) so that I know what to expect. Please send all items on this list in no later than Wednesday, February 10 so that I know if we are missing any materials.
Students are also encouraged to purchase (or make) valentine cards for students in our class. Please make sure that there are enough cards (23 minimum) for EVERYONE in the classroom so that feeling will not be hurt. A class list was included on the back of this paper so that cards may be personalized.
