Thanksgiving Friendship Feast

Dear Parents,
We will be having a friendship feast on Tuesday, November 22, 2016! The menu will include turkey sandwiches, fruits, veggies and assorted pies with whipped cream. We need your help to make this a great experience for the kids. Classrooms will be combining to share a meal just like the first Thanksgiving. Please circle what you are able to send in and return this paper to school by Monday, November 14. Food items should be sent to school ON Tuesday, November 22. Paper products and drinks can be sent in anytime prior to that day.

Wayne County Regional Enhancement Education Millage Proposal

School districts in Wayne County have placed a proposal on the November 8th ballot to provide added funding for our schools. It is the “Regional Enhancement Millage Proposal.”
If approved by the entire county, the 2 mil proposal will generate approximately $6.2 million from Dearborn but the District will receive $7.8 million in additional funding for our schools. Next, they sorted their mixtures into different substances.
Then they labeled them and they used their 5 senses to find each substance properties.
Finally they enjoyed eating their mixtures.
