On March 15, 201 , Art Club students visted the DIA in the morning and the Parade Company in the afternoon. It was a full day of excitment. At the DIA, students visited many galleries. The students enjoyed looking at the works of many famous artists that they learned about in the art room. At the Parade Company, students learned how to make the big head using 13 layers of papier mache, clay and wire base. Students made the connection with the papier mache masks that they are creating themselves in the Art Room.
Tanks to all the doscents at the DIA and the tour guides at the PArade Company for the informative tours that they offered to Miller students.
Thanks to all the chaperones who came with us that day to visit the DIA and the Parade Company. They did wonderful job keeping their eyes on the students in their group. I couldn’t have done it without their dedication, hard work, and commitment. The students will remember this day for ever.
