My name is Mrs. Saad.  I am the only art teacher at Miller school for all grades. I would like to welcome my former and my new students. I am looking forward to a great year with lots of successful art students.  I work throughout the year to collect beautiful artworks for the art show in April. Every year, I pick ten artworks of Miller students to be showcased at the Performing Arts Center in Dearborn during the month of April and May.

This year, I will be teaching the students about the elements of art.  These include Color, Shape, Line, Texture, Space, Form and Value.  These are the building blocks of all art projects just as the alphabet is used as the building blocks of language.  In addition, my focus will be on helping the students improve the academic vocabulary related to Math and specifically geometry that are taught in their classrooms.

I will be posting the objective of each lesson and how the students are progressing in demonstrating the application by showing photos of the kids working on accomplishing the goal desired.
