We are working on hygiene. With all of these boys and early gym we are focusing on smelling fresh and clean all day. Please send in deodorant to use before or after gym as well as a clean shirt to keep in here incase they are extra sweaty! Thank you

Hump day…

Today, we did not stop! We almost forgot to sneak in some pictures! We read more about Roald Dahl and brainstormed ways we want to celebrate on Friday. We think we will watch some Charlie and the Choc Factory excerpts and eat some chocolate goodies! We will also play candy themed BINGO and have a guessing game of how many candies in a jar to work on estimation. If you want to send in some chocolates to pass out that would be okay. We are also working on counting my 5s and 10s so we traced our hands to craft a visual.

Is it only Monday?!

Today we started a new Behavior Basics unit focusing on raising our hand. we had some trouble but we will continue working on it this week. We started reading about Roald Dahl the famous author who wrote Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, and BFG! Here are some pics of our day:

Busy Friday!

What a day! Between Ms. Chapman and Ms. Saab’s class we were able to do art, bake, play hot potato, centers, and write notes to our friends.

  • Gabe loves his fruit

Getting into the Routine

We have had a busy couple weeks getting into our routine. We are still in the middle of testing to see what level work we will need to work independently as possible. This may take a few weeks but we sure are busy!

One of my favorite resources is Teachers Pay Teachers. My class is a newly opened room so I am literally starting from scratch. I would love to have more differentiated materials so all students can feel included all day long. We love Calendar time, cooking recipes that are visual, reading stories as a class with different levels and task cards. TpT will match some contributions to support our class resources.
