Next Wednesday the 5th is late start. My cousin was a guest visitor And brought everyone McDonalds and a new remote control car we will use in an obstacle course we will build. Let’s hope majority was right and that groundhog doesn’t see his shadow!! No more winter is wanted!

What a long week!

Is it May yet?! Lol this week we worked on transitioning back to school and getting back into our regular daily schedule. Next week and the week after will make it difficult again bc of the change of schedule. Remember Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday are 1/2 days. Monday the 20th is a day off for MLK DAY. And another half day for Tuesday the 21st and Wednesday the 22nd. Check the previous blog post for clearer schedule.

Today we celebrated some birthdays for paras and Mrs. Chapman. We had chocolate cake and ice cream. This week we also celebrated the New Year with a countdown and wrote our new years resolution. Students are back in classes such as gym, social studies, and art. We got to enjoy the beautiful weather with recess too. We are working on reading different types of texts and summarizing articles in reading.

Culture Day

I want to start off my saying how thankful I am to the families that shared their cultures today. Dearborn is so diverse and beautiful and I wanted our students to sense the differences in food, dress, and traditions. Even the parents that could not stop in but sent information and Treats to share. You all make my job so much easier and rewarding.
I was able to snap a few pics in between visitors. Here are also pics from the week.
