This week: 1/9-1/10

This week is so short due to the snow days that we are simply going to review our math, reading, writing, science and social studies that we have learned this semester.  I will begin DRA testing on Monday.

We do not have a spelling test this week.  We will get new words tomorrow for next week.

Thank you for making sure your child completed the homework packet.  I had all but 2 students turn it in today!

SRI today: 12/17

We took our SRI test today on the computer.  This is the reading test given to all students second grade through 5th.  The grade that they received today will go on their report card.

I am glad to say that I had 11 students make improvements in their scores today! Unfortunately, that means that I still have 14 students that scored a (0).

If your child made ANY progress on the SRI, then they are coming home with a Pizza Hut coupon for a free personal pizza!

I am VERY proud of those students who made progress on the SRI, as it is a very difficult test to master.
