Field trip tomorrow! 4/29

Tomorrow is our field trip to the Dearborn Historical Museum.  Our bus is leaving promptly at 9:00, so please be on time tomorrow.

It is going to rain tomorrow, so please wear clothes that will keep you warm and comfortable walking between buildings at the museum.  DO NOT bring an umbrella on the trip, they will poke others and be a distraction.  Instead, just wear a coat with a hood or bring a hat.

We will be back for lunch, so do not bring a lunch for the trip, we will be having a regular lunch time at Oakman since we will be returning by 11:30.

See you in the morning.

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone completed their homework packet over the ten day break, and read everyday too!

Please be be sure to bring in your field trip permission slip tomorrow if you have not already.  Our field trip is Tuesday.

We will get our new spelling words tomorrow for our test on Friday.

Remember…this is beginning the final weeks of school.  I will begin DRA testing, math assessments, SRI and writing assessments in the coming weeks.  The scores that you earn on these tests will be your final grades for second grade.

See you in the morning!

Field Trip 4/29/14

WE are going to the Dearborn Historical Museum.  The field trip form went home yesterday.  Please return the form by tomorrow.  You do not need to pay for the trip, Mr. Awada is paying the 5.00 fee.  Some students brought in 5.00 already and I either gave their money back to them OR some students were very kind and donated their 5.00 to the needy family!

The form also states that you need a lunch, this form is generic and was not changed…Your child DOES NOT NEED A LUNCH.  This is a half day trip. 🙂

Please come to the Parent meeting tomorrow morning!
