we have been working on numbers..counting them, grouping them, and really just gaining a deeper understanding of numbers in general.

Here, students are using counting collections to group their items in groups of 2,5, or 10, and gain a deeper understanding of number value.

MyOn.com

Students will be required to read on the MyOn website each night as additional homework.  Tomorrow, we will go to the computer lab and practice logging in.  I will also send home instructions for parents.  Students will be familiar with the program and will show you how it works.

Please help your child to become a better reader by setting aside computer time each night for our wonderful online resources for reading (MyOn) and Math (Xtramath).

I receive reports weekly showing me which students have worked on our online math and reading resources.
