Field trip 6/3: Bowling

We are going to Mercury Lanes on Wednesday June 3rd. The cost is $7.00 and is due on Monday June 1st.

The $7.00 will cover the cost of bowling shoes, ball rental, pizza and juice.

I will need 2 parents to ride the bus for this field trip. Remember, if you volunteer for this trip I will need you to help with ALL STUDENTS, not just your own child.

Parents that would like to come, but can not fit on the bus may drive and follow us there.

Parents will also have to pay 7.00 if they wish to bowl and eat pizza.

Field Day tomorrow!!

Tomorrow morning K-2 will be outside from 9-11:30 having fun on field day. If any parents would like to come help manage the class while we are outside your help is appreciated.

Students should wear sunscreen, possibly a hat, and dress for WARM WEATHER!

See you tomorrow 🙂

Detroit Boat Trip 6/9/15

As you know, we are taking a school wide boat trip on June 9th. Unfortunately, I am only allowed to take 1 parent with me, per Mr. Awada. So, I am asking that you make the choice whether or not you think that your child will be able to control themselves on a boat trip without your supervision. Of course, I will do all that I can to keep your child safe and help them to make good choices, but with the limited amount of adult help on this trip it will be difficult to control students that are impulsive and disruptive on a constant basis.

Please speak with me if you would like to discuss this trip. I know many parents would like to come on the trip with us, and unfortunately I can not allow a parent to come with us that is only there to watch their own child…I will need a parent that will be there to help me with the ENTIRE class. Please take this into consideration.

Thank you, the best way to contact me would be by email rydlicc@dearbornschools.org or in person after school dismissal around 3:45.
