Today, I began to call parents on the list that have completed background checks. Many have already declined, so I will begin tomorrow to invite parents that came on our last trip.

This week we are entering our final report card marking.

In math we are going to continue to work on story problems and begin to focus on fractions.

In science we are beginning to learn about living and non living things.

We just began our reading and writing unit on nonfiction. We are revisiting text features of nonfiction books and beginning a research project about butterflies.

Please read EVERY NIGHT.

Spelling: ABC order

We are taking another field trip on Thursday April 7th. If you did not get to attend the first field trip and would like to attend the next one, you MUST have your background check to be allowed to ride the bus and help with students. It takes about 3 weeks to complete. I already have at least 2 parents that volunteered for the first trip and could not go because they did not have their IChat check completed. I am only allowed to take 6 adults on this trip in order to make room for all of the students on the bus. If you want to go and can not fit on the bus, you can follow us by car. We are going to the Ann Arbor Hands on Museum in Ann Arbor.
