The first video will help introduce you to the book Rain! This is the book that we read together in live reading groups this week on iLearn. You can re-watch for a review, or if you missed reading with me, you can catch up here.
This video is here for you to read the book on your own.
If you want your child to be a successful reader (and of course you do!), it’s so important that you know how to teach your child to rhyme. Rhyming is a super-important skill that can be taught with two of my favorite things: books and games.
Below is a HUGE list of nursery rhymes that you may be familiar with.

Today we are reading the new book titled SO Big! You can read along with me first, then try it on your own using the second video. The third video is the story of Jack and The Beanstalk..that one is just to listen to.
Below is a video of me helping you read the book Hop, Hop, Hop. Under my video is a second video that has a copy of the book that you can read on your device easier. Have fun reading!

**If you do not have a printer, you can still play this game by writing the sight words on small pieces of paper or cards…don’t forget to include “skunk” cards. Directions: Each player takes a turn by choosing a card, one at a time. If the player is able to read the card, he/she can keep it. Otherwise it goes back into the pile. If a player gets skunked (chooses a skunk card) the player needs to return all of his cards to the pile. The player with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.
