Indoor Recess toys…

There will be several days throughout the year that our kids will stay indoors for recess, for heat, rain, snow, etc. On these days, recess will be supervised in our classroom.
I am sending home a big Ziploc bag, for you and your child to fill with indoor recess toys that he/she can play with in our classroom on these days. Please help your child fill this bag with some items to play with.
Here are few things to keep in mind when you’re choosing your items to bring in:
1. Nothing that depicts violence. No weapons or pretend weapons
2. No electronics. No handheld game systems.
3. Nothing precious. It will remain in our classroom for half the year, so nothing that will be missed at home. (I’ll send the bag home mid-year to get replenished.)
4. Everything must fit in the bag and the bag must zip closed.
5. Nothing too noisy.
6. Nothing worth more than a few dollars.
