Objective:

I can demonstrate  application of addition of up to four 2 digit numbers by completing 10 multi digit addition problems. I can demonstrate application of addition and subtraction by solving 5 “What’s my Rule?” problems using doubles an d halves.  2.0a.1 I can demonstrate application of using appropriate tools strategically by using a scale to weigh items and estimate their weights. I can demonstrate analysis of measurement by comparing and contrasting the lenghth of my arm span to the distance that I can long jump. I can demonstrate application of solving word problems using money and cent symbols by solving an open response math problem with my group.

Objectives:

I will explain how I used place value to solve the 10 problems. I will solve “what’s my rule?”  problems by writing the missing numbers. I will compare the weights of our backpacks first by estimating the weight  and  then by creating a graph of the results. I will create a graph that interprets the data from out measurements. I will present, reflect, report of my groups findings in my journal and verbally.
