Parents, please read the note that was sent home regarding lice. We had a confirmed case in our classroom, and lice spreads VERY easily especially among children. Our students keep their jackets in the same closet, and so it may be transferred easily from one student to another.

Please check your child’s hair tonight, and if your child has lice, please do not send them to school tomorrow. You must buy a special shampoo to wash their hair with.

We will be checking students’ hair tomorrow at school as well.

Please remember, that lice does not mean you or your child are dirty, and it is nothing to be embarrassed about. Anyone can get lice, from school, a friend’s house, or even out shopping or at the movie theater. Do not send your child to school tomorrow if you find evidence of live lice OR eggs.

Our classroom was fumigated this evening with a spray to kill anything in our room.
