Today we continued with Chapter 3. We read sections 2-3 and completed notes for those sections. Any students who are absent need to read and complete notes for those sections.

Today we continued with chapter 2 and finished section 6. Students need to have their notes completed.
Processing Assignment:
For homework, students need to work on the processing assignment at the end of the reading notes, bottom of section 6. They need to make a ‘superhero poster’ of their hominid group they found most interesting. The assignment should ONLY be done a loose leaf or printer paper, NOT AN ACTUAL POSTER SIZE!! It needs to be colored, and is due on Wednesday. They just need to follow the directions on the bullet points to receive the full grade.

Can’t believe it is already October!
Yesterday students took their Chapter 1 assessment. During that time I checked their chapter 1 reading notes and their bellwork.
They also received the chapter 2 illustrated dictionary, which is due on Monday.
Today we went over the test, and then watched a video on prehistoric cave art. We were only able to watch the first 15-20 minutes of it, so any absent students can watch it, or students if they like can finish the video.
