Today we continued with Buddhism. Students made a poster about their assigned section that was presented to the class.
I also checked their bellwork today.
Any absent students will be excused from the poster assignment, but needs to get their bellwork checked by tomorrow or Monday for credit.

Tomorrow the Judaism extra credit notes for chapters 11 and 12 are due. Students DO NOT need to do the preview or processing. And in chapter 12, they DON’T need to do the Timeline questions.

I told students today I CANNOT post reading notes from the chapters on the blog anymore. I must go through iLearn from now on. I mentioned this to my students today, and they are aware of this. From now on, they must get resources through the iLearn website.

Today in class we discussed and almost completed our section on Judaism. Tomorrow we will continue with Buddhism.

Today and yesterday we continued our topic on world religions, and yesterday began on Hinduism. Students have been working in groups to explain in basic detail the main ideas of Hinduism. We will continue this tomorrow as well, and possibly start Judaism.

Yesterday I checked the chapter 9 reading notes. Whoever was absent needs to have those complete, including the processing.
Today in class we ended ancient Egypt and started world religions. Tomorrow we will continue with a basic introduction to world religions.

Students need to complete their reading notes for chapter 9 by tomorrow. We will work on the processing in class tomorrow (except for 2nd hour, they need to do the processing for homework), so they don’t need to finish that tonight.
All role plays are done (except 1) and grades are in parent connect.
After this chapter, we will move on to our next unit which is world religions.
