Today in class students turned in their map that was for homework.
I also gave them their illustrated dictionary for chapter 1. Students will use the sheet I gave them to develop their vocabulary understanding. Just follow the directions on the sheet

Today students turned in their textbook scavenger hunt. Hopefully by now students are a little more familiar with their books. Here is the assignment:
Also today students created a map of the classroom to become more familiar with what is in my room and what they may use, and where to find certain materials. This is not a collected assignment.

Today in class students received their textbooks. This is their textbook to take with them and they must bring to class every day! Students must take care of their books and return the same one at the end of the year. Replacing books costs $90 and rebinds are $11.

Hello everyone, and welcome back for another year at Bryant Middle School! I know it will be a great year.
Today in my class we discussed classroom procedures and I handed out the syllabus. For some classes I wasn’t able to finish going over the syllabus rules so I will have to continue that tomorrow.
The syllabus must be SIGNED and returned on Tuesday Sept. 13th. Also all class MATERIALS must be collected by Tuesday as well.

Only 1 1/2 days left!!
Yesterday students took their chapter 35 assessment.
I then collected their textbooks. Any damaged ones students will have to pay for.
Today I checked reading notes and bellwork. If any student forgot their stuff today (or was absent), please make sure to bring it back to school tomorrow to get credit!! Tomorrow is the last day.

Today students finished up their reading notes for chapter 35 sections 3-10. They need to have all of these completed by Monday when we take the test.
