CHAPTER 2 PROJECTS DUE TODAY

Students turned in their projects for the hominid comic book cover page.  This was for summative points.

Today we started chapter 3:  From Hunters and Gatherers to Farmers.  We will learn about the Neolithic Age, or the Agricultural Revolution, and discuss how Agriculture has completely changed human development.

We read sections 1-3 and completed notes for section 2:

CHAPTER 2 PROJECTS ARE DUE TOMORROW!

Hominid Comic Book Poster Project

Please make sure students are completing their projects.  THIS IS A SUMMATIVE GRADE!  If they don’t do this it’s like they are not taking a test.

Today we watched a video on the Neanderthal Man hominids.

Today in class we worked on our Hominid Hunger Game CER.  If any student didn’t finish it they are to complete it tonight for homework and turn it in tomorrow in class:

Oct. 2nd, 2018

Today we finished up the reading in chapter 2.  We read section 6: homo sapiens sapiens and completed the notes on it.  We are now finished with the notes for chapter 2.  I will more than likely check these on Friday

Yesterday and today we have been learning about chapter 2: Early Hominids.  We are learning about the capabilities of survival for each hominid species and how they are more advanced than the prior group.

We have read sections 1-4 and completed notes for sections 2-3.  Here are the reading notes for chapter 2:

Sept. 25th, 2018

Chapter 1 Re-take will be Tuesday October 2nd after school.  Any student who got a 69% or lower on the test is eligible.
