CODE OF HAMMURABI PROJECT
This is due on Thursday!!
Students need to make a 12×18 inch poster with 4 things: 1. summarize code of Hammurabi, 2. opinion paragraph, 3. list of 10 laws, and 4. picture with description.
Please see the attached information about the project. Also on that attachment is a reading about the laws and some actual laws from the code. Students can also use their textbook on pg. 58 and the newsela articles for additional information.

Today and Friday in class we continued on with chapter 6: The Four Empires of Mesopotamia.
Students were assigned one of the four empires and read the sections and did notes on just those two sections. Here are the notes for the whole chapter (please note that they only did 2 of these sections):
