No Homework over weekend (unless students were absent)
Hey everyone,
Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve posted on the blog. It has been a hectic and busy week for me.
Anyways, I have finished the grades for the 3rd card-marking. Please check and see if there are any issues. If so, students must let me know on Monday after break so I can submit them that day.
Some students still haven’t taken the previous test. Also, in my 6th hour there were 3 processing assignments for chapter 22 with no name on it. So if you see that grade is empty but you turned it in, more than likely that is one of yours.
Thank you, and have a great spring break!!
Sorry it took me so long, but the 4 paragraph essay on comparing and contrasting two religions are finally graded and entered into the grade book. I will pass these back tomorrow and students may fix any mistakes and re-submit it for a better grade before the end of the week (which is the last day of the card-marking). Also, any students who haven’t turned those in, may still do so.
Here is the rubric again in case they lost it:
We will have a test on chapter 22 this week, which will be our last summative grade for this card-marking.
Here are the notes for chapter 22:
Enjoy the rest of your weekend

QUIZ ON MONDAY
There will be a short quiz on chapter 21 on Monday. Students will have to know the terms from chapter 21 as well as the map from earlier (see above). Students will need to know the physical features and where to locate them on a map of China (Huang He river, Chang Jiang river, East China Sea, Himalaya mountains, etc..). They can use the maps I gave back to them as study guides, or they can use their book to study.
