Today we started our new unit on Ancient Egypt.
We worked on the map which can be found from pages 68-69. We will finish the map tomorrow in class:

CODE OF HAMMURABI PROJECT
This is due on Thursday!!
Students need to make a 12×18 inch poster with 4 things: 1. summarize code of Hammurabi, 2. opinion paragraph, 3. list of 10 laws, and 4. picture with description.
Please see the attached information about the project. Also on that attachment is a reading about the laws and some actual laws from the code. Students can also use their textbook on pg. 58 and the newsela articles for additional information.
