Reminder: Accessing Books

This is a list of online options to find books to keep reading and growing your Lexile level. Remember we have a goal of +1200 to achieve or maintain by graduation.

*Overdrive App – If you have a library card, download this app to access e-books and audio-book.
*Michigan Electronic Library – A library card or driver’s licence/state ID is needed to access materials – including test-prep/practice materials.
*Audible Stories- This site is free while schools are closed.

*Bluford Books Audios – If you enjoyed The Test or The Gun check out this site, a selection of the Bluford Books have free audios available.
*Open Culture – This site has a selection of free audio books and some e-books, these tend to be classics.
*Project Gutenberg – This site has a large selection of e-books, mainly classics
*Librivox – This site has a collection of free public domain audio-books
*English Language Learning: Listen and Read – This is a varied collection of audio-books with some popular titles (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, Looking for Alaska, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, etc.) and authors (Stephen King, Markus Zusak, etc.)
*Lit2Go – A collection of e-books in the public domain.
