SCIENCE HOMEWORK-HOW MY FAMILY USES WATER
Today your child will be bringing home a green science homework sheet. In class we reviewed the science homework and went over any misconceptions so that students would be able to do this assignment independently. Students are asked to record when they see a family member using water. If they see someone using water for the same reason they are to just put a tally mark next to the reason instead of writing it again.
On the backside of this homework page is a place for them to interview one adult in your home. They need to ask, “How do you use water in your job?” and record some examples down.
This science homework is due Wednesday, January 15th. Thanks!

Leader in Me- Random Acts of Kindness The Final Countdown…
Today your child will be bringing home a Random Acts of Kindness Sheet. They are to follow the acts of kindness on this calendar. If they complete an Act of Kindness that is on the calendar they can then color in the box below the day they did so red or green. We are doing this activity at school to encourage Random Acts of Kindness and to Think Win-Win Habit 4. By doing this activity we will be filling emotional bank accounts for ourselves and others. Please talk with your child throughout the week about their acts and have them bring in their sheet on Friday. The last act will be completed at school and students will then put this sheet in their Leadership Binder. Thanks for your support and help with this in advance!
