Science Review, Science Books and Upcoming Test

Today your child will be bringing home the following letter, their science review, their science book, and a folder of completed work.

October 24, 2019

 Dear Parent(s),

Here is your child’s Properties of Matter test review.   To help your child study for his or her science test, please help your child complete the attached science review, and then use it to study with your child.  They should be using pages E6-E23 in their science book to answer their questions and then to check their answers. The same pictures on the review pages are in the book so you may want to use the book page instead of the copied page to look at pictures (for example to answer question 9 A and B use page science book page E27since it is a clearer picture than the copied picture).  Please also use the graded work in their Properties of Matter folder to help them review and study too!  We are currently finishing up the end of this unit so please look in your child’s Everyday Folder next week for additional graded sheets that they can also be used for review.   PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD RETURN THEIR SCIENCE BOOK TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY SINCE WE WILL BE REVIEWING AND DOING MORE ACTIVITIES OURSELVES.  Our science test will be on Thursday, October 31st.   Please also return their completed review on Wednesday, October 30th since it is a part of their homework grade, and because we will also be checking it and reviewing so that they can take it home and study the night before too!  PLEASE DO NOT SEND THE REVIEW BACK TO SCHOOL WITH YOUR CHILD BEFORE Wednesday, October 30th. Thanks!

                                                                             Sincerely,

                                                                             Katie Robins
