STEMBOTS UPDATE!

Thank you so much for taking the time to apply for this year’s STEMBOTS Robotics team, we had an overwhelming number of outstanding candidates this year – over 50 students applied for less than 15 spots on the roster!

The robotics committee chose STEMBOTS based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to: The application essay, teacher recommendation results, prior robotics/coding experience, and academic standing. If you applied for a spot on the STEMBOTS competitive team, please check your school email today. Acceptance letters were sent to all members of the team. If you did not receive an email, remember that there are plenty of opportunities to support the STEMBOTS in other ways, and you can always re-apply for a spot on the team next year.

Thank you so much for supporting STEM Middle School’s robotics program!

STEMBOTS Robotics Team Update!

Hi STEM students!

This morning, the STEMBOTS robotics team applications were posted outside of Miss Roberts’ classroom (187B). Any 6th-8th grade STEM student who is interested in joining the team may pick up an application anytime between now and Friday afternoon. Candidates must return a completed, signed application to Miss Roberts no later than the end of the school day (2:15pm) on Friday, September 27th. Late applications will not be accepted! Since there are only 12 spots available on the team, this is a highly competitive application process, and not all students who apply will make the team. STEMBOTS are chosen by a committee, based on their application, teacher recommendation, and prior robotics experience. A team roster will be posted outside of Miss Roberts’ classroom during the first week of October, along with a team meeting schedule. Thank you for supporting our robotics program here at STEM!
