Big Blue Button – Virtual Classes & Office Hours

Hi STEM Students!
By now, you’ve probably heard the news that the district is no longer allowing us to use Google Hangout as a way to host live classes. Our only option to live-chat is through a program called Big Blue Button. Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28th, I will only be able to use Big Blue Button to live chat with you – we will no longer be able to use Google Hangout.

From what I understand, YOU CAN ONLY ACCESS BIG BLUE BUTTON THROUGH iLEARN – This means that I cannot just send you a chat link to click on in Google Classroom like we’ve been doing in the past, you will have to go into iLearn, log into our new iLearn Class, and then click on the Big Blue Button icon in there to chat with me during your scheduled virtual class time. 

PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL OR GOOGLE CLASSROOM for detailed instructions regarding how to log into iLearn & use Big Blue Button.

You will need the unique class code that I emailed to you and posted in Google Classroom in order to log in and chat with me during my live classes on Tuesday and office hours on Wednesday.
