6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be studying, analyzing, and investigating the hydrologic cycle. Students will conduct a series of activities and experiments to learn about how human activity can affect the water cycle and how development can impact the flow of the water.

7th Grade ELA –
This week, we’ll be working on our argumentative & persuasive literature unit. Students will read, write, and evaluate different forms of argumentative and persuasive texts, including non-fiction literature, news articles, informational texts, debates, and transcripts. During this unit, students will also write arguments and counter-arguments that involve citing claims, evidence, and reasoning.
Homework –
10/30/19  Work on your Book Project 1 – Due Thursday, November 7th! Bring your Book Project materials to class on Friday for an in-class workshop!

8th Grade STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be implementing our geometric, technical drawing, spatial reasoning, and computer-aided design skills by working on a haunted house project using SketchUp. Since SketchUp is a free 3-D design software program formerly owned and operated by Google, students can access SketchUp from anywhere, using any smart device.
