6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be focusing on criteria & constraints as we learn more about the Engineering Design Process. Students will also discuss and analyze rubrics as we prepare for our upcoming Paper Towers engineering experiment.

7th Grade ELA –
This week, we’ll continue our narrative lit unit by focusing on the story “7th Grade” by Gary Soto. We’ll also spend some time working on text dependent analysis strategies to prepare for our quiz on Friday, September 13th. Students will also need to finish their summer reading project (postcards) by Friday, September 13th, so they can present one of their postcards to the class.
Homework –
9/11/19 – Complete your summer reading postcards – The final draft of your postcards are due on Friday, Sept. 13th, the same day we’ll be presenting our work in class! Make sure to study for the “7th Grade” story quiz on Friday, Sept. 13th as well!
