6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be studying, analyzing, and investigating the hydrologic cycle. Students will conduct a series of activities and experiments to learn about how human activity can affect the water cycle and how development can impact the flow of the water.
Homework –
9/30/19 –
  Work on your water cycle vocab quadrants – Due Wednesday! 
10/1/19 – Complete your water cycle vocab quadrants– Due tomorrow!

7th Grade ELA –
This week, we’ll continue our narrative lit unit by focusing on the stories “Charles” and “The Lottery” by Shirley Jackson. We’ll also spend some time working on the following literary concepts: theme, symbolism, types of conflict, and characterization.

8th Grade STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be kicking off a computed-aided design & modeling unit to hone our mathematical, technical drawing, spatial reasoning, and perspective skills. Students will be working on a series of CAD illustration activities and assignments using the program SketchUp!
Homework –
9/30/19 –
 Finish your bench project in SketchUp – Snip your work and upload it to your Google Classroom assignment!
10/21/19 – Finish your table project in SketchUp – Snip your work and upload it to your Google Classroom assignment!
