6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be finishing up our climate & climate change unit. During this time, students will be learning about concepts such as atmospheric conditions, global warming causes and effects, temperature trends, and the greenhouse effect.
Homework –
2/1 – The in-class Climate Change Summative Task (Part 1) was due at the end of class today. However, if you were unable to finish this during our class time, you can utilize the late deadline and turn this in before 2:15pm on Monday, Feb. 4th.

STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be working on a CAD Illustration unit, where students will be challenged to use drafting, architectural, and design skills to transform images from two-dimensional or three-dimensional sketches to Computer-Aided Designs. During this time, students will work on a shipping container challenge using the CAD program SketchUp.
Homework –
2/1 The Shipping Container Project (final draft) was due at the end of class today. However, if you were unable to finish this during our class time, you can utilize the late deadline and turn this in before 2:15pm on Monday, Feb. 4th. Remember, this is a summative task, so be sure to prioritize your time to get this assignment turned into Google Classroom before the late deadline closes.
