6th Grade Science –
Hi 6th graders! This is just a quick update since school will be closed for a snow day/cold day on Wednesday, January 30th. Please take a few moments to review your science glossary terms, class notes, and recent assignments to prepare for a climate change and global warming quiz that we’ll be taking in class on Thursday, January 31st (or as soon as we return to school). Look over and review your science glossary terms, class notes, homework, and in-class assignments to prepare for the quiz. Stay warm, I’ll see you soon!

STEM Apps –
Hi STEM Appers! This is just a quick update since school will be closed for a snow day/cold day on Wednesday, January 30th.
Today, when we met in class, we made a few updates to our shipping container project to prepare for the submission of the final draft. The new project requirements for the shipping container project final draft are as follows:
NEW Shipping Container Project Requirements (Final Draft): Follow all project instructions. Your container must be an original design, and you must reuse or re-purpose a shipping container to be used for TWO different purposes – housing, educational, or commercial needs. You must use a minimum of FOUR shipping containers to create a re-purposed shipping container village or multiplex. Add your initials to the front of your design. The final draft deadline is set for the end of the school day (2:15pm) on Friday, February 1st. The final draft deadline will not be adjusted if we experience any additional snow days this week, so please prepare accordingly. As you know, SketchUp is a Google-based application, so you can make edits or alterations to your work from any electronic device. As a reminder, the final draft of the shipping container project will be graded as a summative project.
