6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be working on our climate & climate change unit. During this time, students will be learning about concepts such as atmospheric conditions, global warming causes and effects, temperature trends, and the greenhouse effect. Students should also review homework assignments at home to refresh the material that we’ve been covering in class and prepare for the NWEA science test.
Homework –
1/21 – No School Today – MLK Jr. Day!
1/22 – No HW – NWEA testing this week – Have a great day!

 

STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be working on a CAD Illustration unit, where students will be challenged to use drafting, architectural, and design skills to transform images from two-dimensional or three-dimensional sketches to Computer-Aided Designs. During this time, students will work on a shipping container challenge using the CAD program SketchUp. The final draft of the shipping container challenge design needs to be uploaded to Google Classroom by the end of the school day (2:15pm) on Friday, January 25th.
