6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be working on our Earth, weather, and climate unit. During this time, students will be learning about concepts such as atmospheric conditions, ocean current trends, weather patterns and storms, and how the sun and Earth can effect weather conditions.
Homework –
12/3 – Finish the Talking to the Text Lake-Effect Snow article activity
12/4 – Bring in a clean, empty 20 ounce water bottle/pop bottle with a cap on it for class on Thursday!

STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be continuing our Modeling & Design unit, where students will be challenged to use drafting, architectural, and design skills to transform images from two-dimensional or three-dimensional sketches to Computer-Aided Designs. During this time, students will work on an interior decorating-inspired project where they will design their own “dream bedroom” using the CAD program SketchUp.
