6th Grade Science –
This week, we’ll be focusing on our heat, temperature, and thermal energy unit. We’ll continue to explore the topic of thermal energy in discussions, activities, and experiments over the next few weeks.
Homework –
10/31 – Complete your Conduction Lab Report questions/diagrams
11/1 – Complete your Radiation Lab Report questions/diagrams

STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be working on our Future City unit, where students will be challenged to address global issues and come up with feasible solutions as they work in teams to design and create a city 100+ years ahead of our time. This week, we’ll be putting our research into a PowerPoint presentation to explain how future innovations and technological advancements will effect humanity. Presentations will take place in class on Thursday, November 1st and Friday, November 2nd.
Homework –
10/31 – Finish your Future City PowerPoint – the final draft is due tomorrow!
