This week, we’ll be focusing on our a heat, temperature, and thermal energy unit. We’ll continue to explore the topic of thermal energy in discussions, activities, and experiments over the next few weeks.

STEM Apps –
This week, we’ll be working on our Future City unit, where students will be challenged to address global issues and come up with feasible solutions as they work in teams to design and create a city 100+ years ahead of our time. Today, we began the research process, which requires students to examine natural disasters that could impact a city. We’ll have a quick check-in during class on Thursday (Oct 4th) to see how our research process is moving along.
